Realme GT 3 India Launch Soon As Premium Android Smartphone Appears In BIS Database
Realme should launch the Realme GT 3 in India soon. The brand has secured the necessary certification for the premium Android smartphone which flaunts the fastest wired charging technology for a smartphone.
The Realme GT 3 was launched in several markets outside China. However, the brand has delayed the arrival of the flagship smartphone in India. The Realme GT 3 packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, a 144Hz refresh rate AMOLED display, and supports 240W wired fast charging.

Realme GT 3 Surfaces On BIS Website
At the recently concluded MWC event, Realme unveiled the Realme GT 3, a flagship-grade Android smartphone. For reasons yet unknown, Realme excluded India when it announced the international availability of the smartphone.
Although Realme is still silent about the launch of the Realme GT 3 in India, the device has been spotted on the Indian BIS certification website. This means Realme has secured the relevant clearance or certification for the Realme GT 3.
According to the tweet, the Realme GT 3, bearing model number Realme RMX3709 has recently been certified by the Indian BIS certification authority.

The BIS listing is quite bare and does not offer any details about the specifications and features of the smartphone. Hence, it is not clear if Realme will make any subtle hardware changes to the Realme GT 3 before it launches in India. Still, the presence of the device in a BIS database does suggest the Indian launch of the Realme GT 3 is imminent.
Realme GT 3 Specifications, Features, and Expected Price In India
Even though the BIS listing doesn't reveal the specifications, the Realme GT 3 did launch at the MWC a few weeks ago. Hence, the specifications and features of the international variant of the smartphone are known. It is safe to assume that Realme could launch the international variant of the Realme GT 3 in India.
The Realme GT 3 features a 6.74-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The 1080p screen has a punch-hole cutout at the front, which houses the 16MP front-facing camera.
The Realme GT 3 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which is paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage.
There is a triple camera setup on the back of the Realme GT 3, comprising a 50MP Sony IMX890 camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP microscopic camera. The camera setup has a LED flash and a soft-glow LED ring too.
The Realme GT 3 runs the latest Android 13-based RealmeUI 4.0 skin out of the box. One of the highlights of the premium Android smartphone is its 4,600mAh battery which supports a whopping 240W fast charging technology, which is currently the fastest in any smartphone.
Back when Realme launched the Realme GT 3 outside China, it had priced the device at $649 (approx. ₹53,700) for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone also comes in 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB variants for certain markets.
