Redmi 14C 5G India Launch Set for January 6; Expected Features, Pricing, and Availability

Redmi recently teased the arrival of the successor of the Redmi 13C dubbed -- the Redmi 14C 5G in India. Now, the brand has finally revealed the launch date of the smartphone. In addition, dedicated microsites for the Redmi 14C 5G have gone live on both Amazon and Flipkart, confirming its availability on these platforms.

The brand took to its official X (formerly Twitter) handle to confirm the upcoming Redmi 14C 5G will be arriving in India on January 6, 2025. Following the launch, the handset will go on sale via Amazon, Flipkart, and the brand's official website in the country.

Redmi 14C 5G: What to Expect?

The official teaser confirms the Redmi 14C 5G will come with a premium Starlight design inspired by the beauty and power of the cosmos. While the name of colour options is yet to be revealed, it is confirmed to be available in three distinct colour variants.

Moreover, the Redmi 14C will support dual 5G SIM support and up to 2.5Gbps speed. The phone is also confirmed to offer a lag-free video calling experience, smooth live streaming, fast downloads, and uninterrupted gaming. The teaser further shows a circular rear camera module, which is quite similar to the 4G variant of the Redmi 14C that debuted globally back in August.

As far as the features are concerned, the Redmi 14C is expected to sport a 6.88-inch screen with a resolution of 1640 x 720 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits peak brightness. The device could feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and offer a 13MP primary rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.
