Redmi K30 4G Spotted On TENAA; 4,400 mAh Battery, 30W Fast Charging Tipped
Redmi is all set to launch its first 5G smartphone -- the Redmi K30 5G on December 9. Apparently, the company is likely to introduce a 4G version of the Redmi K30 as well. Now, the same has been certified by TENAA and here are the details on the same.
As of now, there is a bit of a dilemma on the processor that powers the Redmi K30 4G. It is speculated that either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G or the Snapdragon 765 SoC will power the smartphone. The phone is expected to support 4G LTE and VoLTE on both SIM slots with support for carrier aggregation.
Redmi K30 4G Specifications
Except for the support of the 5G network, the Redmi K30 4G is likely to be identical to the Redmi K30 5G. Besides, the 4G version will cost less than the 5G version. And, it is most likely to come to India at a later point in time.
According to the TENAA listing, the Redmi K30 4G comes with a 6.67-inch display with FHD+ resolution. Considering the side-mounted fingerprint sensor, the smartphone is likely to offer an IPS LCD screen instead of an AMOLED panel.
The smartphone will have a quad-camera setup at the back, probably with a 60MP primary sensor accompanied by a telephoto, ultra-wide angle, and a macro lens. Plus, the phone will also have a dual-camera setup with a dedicated ultra-wide angle lens or a portrait lens.
The listing also confirms that the device will be on the heavier side as it weighs at 208grams, which includes a 4,400 mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging support.
Whatever be the case, the Redmi K30 4G will be priced less than the Redmi K30 5G. However, the upgrade in the hardware might make the Redmi K30 4G a bit more expensive than the Redmi K20.
