Redmi Note 8 Pro Teaser Hints Online Availability Ahead of October Launch
At the launch of the Redmi 8, Xiaomi also confirmed the Redmi Note 8 Pro. The device comes as a successor to the popular budget smartphone - the Redmi Note 7 Pro. The Redmi Note 8 Pro has already gone official in the Chinese market and is slated to launch on October 16 in India. Ahead of the official launch, its availability has been tipped. The Redmi Note 8 Pro is teased online on Amazon, which suggests the device will be available on the e-commerce platform following the official launch. Besides Amazon, the device will also be available for sale at mi.com and Mi Home Stores.
Notably, the teaser page hints some of the specifications like liquid cooling technology and a big battery, etc. We already know some of the key specifications of this device such as a quad-camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, an FHD+ display with waterdrop notch, and a MediaTek chipset. Redmi Note 8 Pro Vs Redmi Note 7 Pro: Key Differences
The Redmi Note 8 Pro offers a 6.53-inch LCD display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, and a waterdrop notch. The device comes with a quad-camera setup packed with a 64MP Samsung OSOCESS Bright GW1 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, and two 2MP sensors.
It will draw its power from an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T chipset with HyperEngine and liquid cooling technology. It will be available with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage. It will be backed by a 4,500 mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro, on the other hand, flaunts a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with a waterdrop notch. It offers a dual-lens rear camera setup equipped with a 48MP primary sensor and a 5MP depth sensor.
The handset runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 675 SoC with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It makes use of a 4,000 mAh battery with Quick charge support.
