Samsung Foldable Tablet Could Arrive Later This Year Alongside Galaxy Tab S9 Series
Samsung is the undisputed king of affordable smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip, the most popular foldable smartphones in the world, have continued to improve with time. However, the South Korean tech giant could be setting its sight on bringing its successful foldable formula to the tablet market.
According to a tweet by tipster Revegnus, Samsung will announce a foldable tablet labeled the Galaxy Z Tab later this year. The tipster also reveals that the Samsung Galaxy Z Tab foldable tablet will be unveiled alongside the high-end Galaxy Tab S9 series.

Samsung Foldable Tablet Launch Timeline
However, in the event of the device not being ready, Samsung will likely withhold the Galaxy Z Tab launch until next year when it unveils the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
To recall, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series was unveiled back in February last year, although no official launch date for the Galaxy Tab S9 series has been confirmed.
Apart from the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 release date, Samsung is yet to confirm the development of a foldable tablet, but it is impossible to rule it out. At CES 2023, both Samsung and LG, the biggest producers of OLED panels, showcased various concept foldable displays, many of which came in tablet-sized formats.
Foldable tablets Aren't as Far-Fetched as You Think
Moreover, the Samsung Flex Hybrid featured one of the most exciting mechanisms, capable of folding and sliding out. It won't come as a surprise if Samsung opts to incorporate some of the foldable screen tech showcased at CES 2023 into a mainstream product like a foldable tablet
Samsung is a trailblazer in the world of foldable smartphones, perfecting the foldable formula with every generation of its Galaxy Z smartphones.
So it won't come as a surprise if Samsung is the one to open the door to foldable tablets as well. However, the South Korean tech giant will have to be wary as foldable laptops/PCs are yet to make their mark like smartphones, despite the first one being introduced by Lenovo at CES 2020.
