Samsung Galaxy Note 8 India launch set for today: Watch the live stream here

The Galaxy Note 8 was unveiled on August 23 and is all set to go official in the Indian market today. Samsung will be hosting an event at 12:30 PM in New Delhi today to launch the flagship device in the country.
As mentioned above, the Samsung event is all set to debut in another hour or so. And, the company will be live streaming the same on its official website. You can also stay tuned to the live updates via the Twitter handle of the company.

The Galaxy Note 8 has been garnering a lot of interest among the consumers in India. The device went on pre-registration a few days back. Following the same, the reports tipped that Samsung has received over 2.5 lakh registrations for the device. Of this figure, 72,000 registrations happened on Amazon India and 1.5 lakh registrations took place on the official Samsung website.
Notably, the pre-registration for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is still open and interested consumers can pre-register for the device. Though pricing and availability information of the device will be revealed at the launch event today, the rumors and speculations have tipped that the Galaxy Note 8 could be priced between Rs. 69,900 and Rs. 74,900. The reports point out that the device will be initially available in Gold and Black color variants and will be bundled with a wireless charger as a launch offer just like the Galaxy S8 duo.
To refresh on the specifications, the Galaxy Note 8 features a 6.3-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. The smartphone comes equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC/Exynos 8895 SoC and mostly likely the Indian variant will get the Exynos chipset. There are three storage options - 64GB, 128GB and 256GB and 6GB RAM in all the variants.
The Galaxy Note 8 is the first Samsung device to arrive with a dual camera setup. It features a 12MP wide-angle lens and a 12MP telephoto lens with OIS. The device features an 8MP selfie camera as well. The other aspects on board include Bluetooth 5.0, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and a 3300mAh battery with support for fast charging.
