Samsung Galaxy Note 8 teaser videos highlight camera, S Pen features

In a recent development, Samsung has come up with two videos related to the Galaxy Note 8. These videos shed light on some of the highly anticipated features of the flagship device. The Samsung South Korea YouTube channel has come up with teaser videos confirming the new Galaxy Note 8 features. One of the videos focuses on the device while the other one focuses on the S Pen.

Talking about the first video, it details the Galaxy Note 8's dual-lens rear camera feature that we have seen in many leaks in the past. In fact, this is one feature that has been leaked many times ever since the Note 8 starting hitting the rumor mills. The video does not show the device but it does clearly show the capability of the Galaxy Note 8's camera.

It shows that the device will feature a portrait mode as seen in the DSLRs. We have already seen smartphones such as OnePlus 5 and iPhone 7 Plus come with such a shooting mode. Furthermore, the video also shows that the camera will arrive with optical zoom. Recently, we came across reports tipping that the Galaxy Note 8 will come with either 2x or 3x optical zoom. However, the video does not show any demonstration of the same.

When it comes to the second video, the S Pen has been teased in it. Notably, the S Pen is an iconic feature of the Galaxy Note lineup of devices. The company is believed to launch the S Pen with a redesigned feature. Otherwise, there are not more details regarding the Galaxy Note 8 in these videos.

From what we know until now, the Galaxy Note 8 will be launched with a 6.3-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display panel. The display is said to be a pressure sensitive panel. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 SoC paired with 6GB RAM and varying storage capacities up to 256GB. A few days back, the alleged pricing of the device in China was out tipping that it might cost over $1,000.
