Samsung is gearing up to unveil its flagship Galaxy S24 series later tonight. The Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra will debut in India and globally at the company's first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2024.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024: How to Watch it Live?

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event will take place later tonight at 11:30 pm (IST). The Samsung Unpacked event will be hosted at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024: What to Expect?

The Galaxy Unpacked event will showcase Samsung's flagship Galaxy S24 series. The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is expected to use a custom version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. However, recent rumors have suggested that Samsung will use the Exynos 2400 chip on the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus in India, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra will get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

Moreover, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus are expected to use 120Hz FHD+ LTPO AMOLED displays, while the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will bump up the resolution to Quad HD+. Samsung is also set to increase battery capacity on its S24 series and update its charging tech. The three Samsung S24 smartphones will also feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is also set to get a camera upgrade. It will feature a 200 MP primary sensor with OIS, a 10 MP telephoto shooter with OIS and 3x zoom, a 12 MP ultrawide lens, and a new 50 MP periscope lens with OIS and 10x zoom. Up front, we expect all three devices to see the same 12 MP selfie shooter.

The Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus are expected to feature a 50 MP primary sensor with OIS support.
