While there's no official word regarding the upcoming Slim model, leaks and rumours gave us enough idea of what to expect from this device.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim: What We Know So Far
According to the Chinese leakster Ice Universe, the Galaxy S25 will measure around 6.x mm in thickness, while the iPhone 17 Air is anticipated to measure below 6 mm thick. Both OEMs failed in their attempts to increase battery capacity through thinner substrates with new materials and techniques, which is the reason they may not be as slim as planned. However, the iPhone 17 is expected to be one of the thinnest phones in 2025.
On the other hand, another tipster named Debayan Roy (@Gadgetsdata) reveals, that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim will feature a 6.6-inch screen, the same as the Galaxy S25+ model, which is expected to launch at a Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, 2025, alongside the standard Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra models.
The tipster also reveals that the Galaxy S25 Slim will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and could pack a battery between 4,700mAh and 5,000mAh. Moreover, the Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup including a 200MP ISOCELL HP5 main sensor, a 50MP JN5 ultra0-wide camera and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom support.
As noted, the launch could take place in the second half of 2025, which is the same as Samsung's next-gen FE and A series models.
