Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 key specifications, design leaked; Larger cover display tipped
Samsung is expected to launch its next generation of foldable smartphones in India and globally this August. And while it is still early days, a new leak reveals key details about the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 specifications and design.
According to tipster Debayan Roy, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 will feature a new design with a much larger cover screen than any of its predecessors. In fact, the tweet reveals that the external display of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is closer in size to the Moto Razr 2022 and Vivo X Flip.

Apart from the cover display, we can also see a dual-camera setup on the back of the Galaxy Z Flip 5. And the tipster has revealed some key specifications of the upcoming Samsung foldable smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Samsung will likely use the customer version of the chip, 'Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy', which was spotted on the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. The chip will be paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 will also feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ LTPO AMOLED display. The panel will feature an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the Z Flip 5 will also opt for a larger 3.4-inch cover screen. The handset is expected to run on Android 13 out of the box with OneUI on top.
The tipster also noted that the Galaxy Z Flip 5 would have a larger battery, although the 25W fast charging remains unchanged from the Galaxy Z Flip 4. For optics, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 will get a 12 MP primary sensor with OIS and a 12 MP ultrawide unit. On the front, the screen will feature an updated 12 MP selfie camera, presumably taken from the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
