Galaxy Z Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra, Flip 8 Promo Images Leak Ahead Of Unpacked; Free Storage Upgrade Offer May End
With just a week to go before Galaxy Unpacked, Samsung's next foldable lineup is pretty much out in the open now. Android Headlines has published what look like official marketing images of the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8, showing all three devices together for the first time.
Alongside this, Samsung has officially detailed a new display technology called Flex Titanium, and a separate report suggests the company could be cutting back on one of its most loved pre-order perks this year.

What The Leaked Images Show
The images shared by Android Headlines reportedly confirm two Samsung Store exclusive colours. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 shows up in a Pistachio finish, which looks like a light blue grey shade, while the Galaxy Z Flip 8 comes in Mint, a light green colourway. Both are expected to be sold only through Samsung's own online store, so you won't find them at retail or with carriers.
On design, the Z Fold 8 Ultra sticks to the familiar book-style shape Samsung's foldables have always had. The standard Z Fold 8, on the other hand, is said to be noticeably shorter and wider this time, a real departure from the tall, narrow look the series has carried for years. The Z Flip 8 doesn't seem to stray far from last year's clamshell design.
Under the hood, the Z Fold 8 is tipped to run a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 "for Galaxy" chipset with 12GB of RAM, and storage starting at 256GB going up to 1TB. Battery capacity could rise to 4,800mAh, though charging is expected to stay at 25W.
Samsung Confirms Flex Titanium Display Technology
Samsung has officially introduced Flex Titanium, a new display technology set to debut on its next-generation foldables. It combines titanium with a redesigned display structure, and the goal is a slimmer, tougher panel with a much less visible crease.

Samsung says this new build gives the display firmer support when unfolded while still holding up fine to repeated folding, all without adding bulk. The panel also gets a new high-resolution architecture and updated organic materials, which should mean sharper visuals and better power efficiency.
Basically, Samsung is pitching Flex Titanium as the thing that finally makes foldables feel closer to a regular flagship phone. Expect more details on this at Unpacked.
Storage Upgrade Offer May Not Stay Free
Samsung has offered a free storage bump on pre-orders since the Galaxy S23 series, upgrading a 256GB unit to 512GB at no extra cost. That could change this time around. Reports suggest Samsung may ask buyers to cover part of the price difference between storage tiers instead of offering the upgrade for free, and rising memory costs are being pointed to as the reason.
And honestly, this one stings a bit. That free storage bump has been one of the best incentives Samsung had going for pre-orders, genuinely one of those rare perks that felt like a straight win for buyers. Losing it now, right when the Z Fold 8 series is already tipped to cost more, just adds to the pile. Rising memory costs are messing things up for everyone this year.
Nothing's been confirmed by Samsung yet, and it's unclear if this applies across every region. Samsung will make everything official at Unpacked, scheduled for July 22 in London.
