Samsung Teases Arrival of New Galaxy F Series Phone in India; Flipkart Microsite Goes Live

Samsung is gearing up to launch a new F series phone soon in India. While the device's name is still unknown, the brand has started teasing the upcoming phone on Flipkart.

A dedicated microsite is now live on the e-commerce site, confirming its availability. The Flipkart teaser also says "Samsung got something FRESH on the way!". Here's what to expect from the upcoming Samsung F series phone.

Samsung To Launch F Series Phone Soon in India

As noted, Flipkart hasn't provided any details regarding the upcoming F series phone. There's a chance the brand is talking about either the Galaxy F06 5G or the Galaxy F16 5G.

Recently, both phones' support pages were spotted on the Samsung India website. The Galaxy F06 5G is tipped to come with model number SM-E066B/DS, while the Galaxy F16 5G might carry a model number SM-E166P/DS.

Samsung Galaxy F06 5G and Galaxy F16 5G Incoming?

Rumours suggest the Galaxy F06 5G will have a 6.7-inch LCD screen. It could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. On the software front, it's tipped to ship with Android 15 with One UI 7.

For optics, the Galaxy F06 5G is likely to offer a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP selfie snapper. Moreover, it could pack a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.

On the other side, the Galaxy F16 5G appeared on the Geekbench with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM. This model is anticipated to run Android 14 out of the box. Even the handset is tipped to be a rebrand of the Galaxy A16 5G, which was launched last year with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a 50MP primary camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging support priced at Rs 18,999.
