And guess what, it will be hosted in Berlin. This means that the Sony event is scheduled merely two days before the beginning of IFA Berlin. The mega event is scheduled on 4th-9th September. But what to expect from the event?
Well, we at Gizbot have an answer. Sony had initially launched the Xperia Z4 in Japan earlier this year. Later the company introduced the same device in other parts of the world dubbed as Z3+. This move was triggered solely by the reason that the Z4 aka Z3+ was a very minor upgrade over the Z3. The company had officially clarified at the launch that the real flagship aka Z5 will be launched at the end of the year.

So far it looks like the Berlin event is strategic move by the company to gain an advantage in the flagship division by launching their Z5, a few days before the launch of the next iPhone and the Note 5.

Recent leaks hint at a device with 5.5 inch Full HD (1920x1080) display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC and 3GB of RAM. Tech analysts at Gizbot believe that the device may come with a 20.7MP camera on the back with an 8MP on the front. Probably we may also see the Hybrid Auto Focus technology that Sony introduced with the M5, introduced here too.
Furthermore the image attached with the Tweet suggest that we are in for a range of devices from Sony at the IFA this year!
