Tecno Camon 20 Series: Launch Timeline, Camera Features Officially Revealed

Tecno recently introduced the Camon 20 series, consisting of four models for the year 2023: Camon 20 Premier 5G, Camon 20 Pro 5G, Camon 20 Pro, and the vanilla Camon 20.

Tecno Unveiled 'Ultimate', a New Imaging Technology

Yesterday, at a conference held in Delhi, the company introduced a new imaging technology named "Ultimage."

Tecno stated that Ultimage is designed to offer an outstanding photography experience by utilizing sensors and AI processing with smartphone imaging technology.

The brand aims to provide features like 'Ultimate Stabilization', 'Ultimate Portrait', and 'Ultimate Night Shot' on the Camon 20 series.

Tecno Claims Impressive Video & Night Photography

As per the company's statement, the CAMON 20 Series is designed to provide an exceptional experience in portrait video and night photography. Tecno has incorporated Sensor-Shift OIS Anti-shaking Technology, a 50MP RGBW Ultra-Sensitive sensor, and proprietary AI algorithms to achieve this. These features aim to set the CAMON 20 Series apart from other smartphones available in the market.

In terms of the Tecno CAMON 20 Premier, it offers enhanced light transmission for clearer night portraits, along with an in-body image stabilization system resembling that of an SLR camera.

Additionally, all the handsets in the series received an algorithm upgrade to enhance their imaging capabilities. They are also equipped with 5+ new filters to further enrich the photography experience.

The company also unveiled a feature called "Portrait Master," which leverages advanced portrait algorithms and deep learning technology to enhance photographs with seven different skin tones. This feature takes advantage of advancements in machine learning to provide improved results.

Furthermore, the company plans to bring Android 14 to the entire CAMON 20 series, although no specific timeline has been provided for this update.

Lastly, Tecno revealed that the CAMON 20 series will release in India by the end of May.
