Tecno Spark 10C Surfaces On Google Play Console: Budget Android Smartphone With A Unisoc SoC

Tecno recently launched the Tecno Pop 7, and the smartphone manufacturer is already gearing up to launch another phone in the affordable or budget segment. The Tecno Spark 10C surfaced on the Google Play Console, strongly suggesting the smartphone is nearing its official launch.

As the name indicates, the Tecno Spark 10C belongs to the "C" series Tecno started a while back. The series majorly comprised budget Android smartphones. The last Tecno smartphone with the 'C' suffix to its name, was the Tecno Spark 8C.

Tecno Spark 10C Appears On Google Play Console

The Tecno Spark 10C has surfaced on the Google Play Console. The device is codenamed KI5k. The listing reveals some key specifications. Needless to mention, Tecno hasn't acknowledged the existence of the Tecno Spark 10C.

According to the Google Play Console listing, the Tecno Spark 10C features an HD+ display. The technology and the size of the screen aren't known, but it could be an IPS LCD screen. The Tecno Spark 8C had a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, 320PPI pixel density, 90Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Tecno could maintain these specifications.

The listing does confirm the Tecno Spark 10C will be powered by an octa-core Unisoc T606 SoC, which is paired with Mali G57 GPU. The model which appears in the listing is packing 4GB RAM.

The Tecno Spark 10C could be running Android 12. Moreover, as the smartphone has 4GB RAM, it could be the full-fledged Android OS and not the lightweight Android Go edition, installed on the Tecno Spark 8C.

Tecno Spark 10C Launch, Availability, And Expected Price In India

The Tecno Spark 8C was launched in January 2022. Hence, the Tecno Spark 10C is technically overdue. The appearance of the smartphone on the Google Play Console suggests the phone could be weeks away from an official launch.

Incidentally, the Tecno Spark 8C is currently selling on Flipkart. The smartphone is available with 64GB of internal storage, but buyers do get a choice of 3GB or 4GB RAM. The price of the Spark 8C starts at ₹7,899.

The Google Play Console listing for the Tecno Spark 10C appears to have the same chipset which is powering the Tecno Spark 8C. The only difference appears to be the Android OS version and edition powering the two smartphones.
