Vivo iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition With 12GB RAM Launched
Vivo has officially unveiled its latest device -- the Vivo iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor. This device was spotted on AnTuTu a few days ago and the company has now officially unveiled the same with support for 33W fast charging.
This is a close successor to the Vivo iQOO Neo 855 powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, launched in October 2019. The major difference between the new and the previous model is the processing.
Vivo iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition Features And Specifications
The Vivo iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition sports a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, protected by a 2.5D curved tempered glass. The display has a more reserved water-drop notch at the top and it is HDR10+ complaint. The screen also beholds an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ is clubbed with either 8/12GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 3.0 based storage solution. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie with FunTouch OS skin on top and the phone is likely to receive Android 10 update in the coming days.
The triple camera setup at the back of the phone consists of a 12MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. These cameras sound a bit mediocre compared to the 48 and 64MP camera smartphones out there. There is a 16MP selfie camera at the front with support for 1080p video recording capability.
A 4,500 mAh sealed battery powers the smartphone with support for 33W fast charging via the USB Type-C port with a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack.
Price And Availability
The Vivo iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition comes in Iceland Aurora, Carbon Black, and Light Mint colors. The base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage retails for 2,598 Yuan (approx Rs. 26,000) and the high-end variant offers 12GB RAM and 128GB storage for 2,798 Yuan (approx Rs. 28,000). The phone will be available in China from December 12.
