Vivo is adding two phones to its mid-range S series today. The Vivo S50 and Vivo S50 Pro Mini are arriving in China today with Snapdragon 8 series chips. The Vivo S50 will make its global debut as the Vivo V70, while the S50 Pro Mini, will be rebranded as the Vivo X300 FE for the international market in the first quarter of 2026.

Vivo has revealed that the Vivo S50 Pro Mini will be sold in three colour options named Confession, Inspiration Purple and Space Gray. The regular Vivo S50 will arrive in four finishes, adding Serene Blue to the same Confession, Inspiration Purple and Space Gray colours, giving buyers more choice on the standard model.
Memory and storage combinations will differ between the two Vivo S50 series phones. The Vivo S50 is expected in four variants, while the Vivo S50 Pro Mini may be offered in three. Both devices will feature high RAM counts and up to 512GB of internal storage.

Early leaks suggest the Vivo S50 will use a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset instead, giving the Vivo S50 series two flagship-class processors. The Vivo S50 is rumoured to sport a 6.59-inch flat OLED screen with 1.5K resolution, plus a 50-megapixel selfie camera on the front for clearer portraits.

On the rear, the Vivo S50 is teased to include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with a 1/1.95-inch sensor size, aimed at better zoom shots.
