Vivo V27 Series India Launch Confirmed: Here’s What We Know About The Upcoming Smartphones

Vivo recently acknowledged the existence of the Vivo V27 series, after multiple details of the smartphones in the lineup were leaked. The brand, however, had refrained from confirming the official launch date of the Vivo V27 series, but now, Vivo has officially confirmed the series will launch next month. The Vivo V27 series should include the base Vivo V27, Vivo V27e, and the top-end model, Vivo V27 Pro. Let's look at all the available details about the upcoming smartphones from Vivo.

Vivo V27 And Vivo V27 Pro India Launch Confirmed

Vivo confirmed the arrival of the new V-series smartphones on Monday. The brand made the announcement via its official Twitter handle. The announcement is quite brief and does not offer details, except the date and time of the launch. The Vivo V27 series will launch in India on March 1, 2023, at 12 PM.

Incidentally, Vivo is expected to announce the global launch of the Vivo V27 series during the launch event in India. Although the Vivo V27 series includes the base Vivo V27, Vivo V27e, and the top-end model, Vivo V27 Pro, only the base and the Pro variants are expected to launch outside China.

The microsite for the Vivo V27 series has been live on Vivo's e-store as well as on Flipkart. Needless to say, the smartphones in the upcoming series should sell on both online marketplaces. However, Vivo is also active in the offline segment, so the Vivo V27 series smartphones should be available at multiple authorized resellers.

Vivo V27 Specifications, Features

The upcoming Vivo V series smartphones will feature a display with a 60° screen curvature. The screen will also have a centered punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera. According to a recent leak, the Vivo V27 Pro will feature a Full HD+ display with a 1080 × 2400 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 440PPI.

The Vivo V27 series will also flaunt a color-changing back panel similar to the one Vivo introduced last year with the Vivo V23 series smartphones. The Vivo V27 Pro could pack a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, paired with a Mali G610 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.

The microsite confirms the upcoming Vivo smartphones will be available in blue, green, and gold color options. Vivo would obviously use some fancier names for the colors.
Vivo has also confirmed that one of the Vivo V27 series smartphones will feature a Sony IMX 776V sensor and aura light ring.
