Vivo V27 Series Microsite Goes Live on Flipkart Confirming India Launch

After days of speculation, Vivo has officially confirmed its Vivo V27 series with a poster and a teaser video. A microsite has also come up on Vivo and Flipkart, suggesting that the upper midrange smartphone will be available on both these official websites and will launch in India.
Vivo Confirms India Launch Of Vivo V27 Series Smartphones
Leaks of the Vivo V27 smartphone series have appeared online quite frequently in the recent past. A Google Play listing and multiple leaks had strongly indicated that Vivo was gearing up to launch the new lineup, especially in India.
The teaser officially confirms that the Vivo V27 series will be launched in India. The dedicated teaser page on Flipkart and Vivo confirms that the series will be available for users in the country.
The poster on the microsite claims that the Vivo V27 series is "Coming Soon". Although Vivo hasn't revealed any more information, it might announce the series towards the end of the month.

As indicated in the poster, Vivo has branded its upcoming V series as the #TheSpotlightPhone. Vivo is likely referring to the large circular LED ring that sits on the rear camera island with this hashtag. It seems like Vivo has attempted to offer a miniature version of a ring light which boosts close-up shots and video recordings.
Vivo V27 Series Specifications, Features
Previous leaks around the Vivo V27 series suggested that it could be a rebranded version of the Vivo S16 series, which launched in China recently. Although the brand hasn't announced the variants yet, the Vivo V27 series is likely to include the base Vivo V27, Vivo V27e, and the top-end model, Vivo V27 Pro. Few reports suggest that Vivo may launch only the Vivo V27 and the Vivo V27 Pro in India.
The microsite confirms the upcoming Vivo smartphones will be available in Green and Gold color options. As seen with its previous smartphones, Vivo might use fancy color names and also offer few more color options.
Traditionally, the Vivo V series has prioritized imaging hardware and design. A recently leaked poster indicated that the V27 series would be 7.4mm thick, suggesting that the devices will be among the thinnest smartphones.
The microsite confirms the Vivo V27 phones will have a curved display. The poster also confirms that the phones will support 66W fast charging out of the box, 12GB of RAM, and 8GB of Extended RAM support. The top-end model in the series could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, while the entry-level variant may pack MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset.
