Vivo X Fold 2 To Possibly Launch in April
Rumors have been abuzz about the impending launch of Vivo's foldable smartphone for months. The company finally acknowledged and teased the timeline of the launch of the Vivo X Fold 2, which will be the brand's new offering and Vivo's officially designated phone at the 2023 Boao Forum.
Even though not much has been revealed about its specifications, an official post on Weibo revealed the moniker and a possible launch timeline. The Vivo X Fold 2 will come as the next in line of foldable phones from the brand after the Vivo X Fold Plus launched last year.

Vivo X Fold 2 Launch: Specifications and Details
Vivo's Weibo post hints that the launch of the Vivo X Fold 2 could be sometime in April. If not a launch, there could be some announcements regarding the handset in April. The presence of flagship specifications was also hinted at.
Although rumored, some details about the phone's specifications have come to light. The phone is expected to have a 4,800 mAh battery, supported by a 120W fast charging port.
A now-deleted post on Weibo claimed that the Vivo X Fold2 would have a camera that boasts a Sony IMX866 sensor, OIS, and V2 ISP. What this entails is, that the primary camera will feature a 50MP resolution, the same as the ones on the Vivo X90 and iQOO 11 Pro.
A 12GB RAM with 256 GB internal storage is what the phone is likely to have in terms of storage.
With the company saying that the specifications will be a set of flagship ones, the foldable smartphone will likely be powered by the latest offerings in the market, namely the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Additionally, both displays are likely to be AMOLED panels.
Vivo X Fold 2 to Have Powerful Folding Screen
The brand has also said that the Vivo X Fold 2 will have the most robust folding screen it has made or launched so far. A sleek and lightweight design is expected to make the phone an easy-to-use handset.
The launch of the Vivo X Fold 2 is expected to be accompanied by the launch of two other devices by the brand, Vivo X Flip and Vivo Pad 2.
