Vivo X Fold 6 Launch: How to Watch the Livestream
The Vivo X Fold 6 is launching in China today at 07:00 pm local time or 04:30 pm IST. Those interested in watching the Vivo X Fold 6 event live can do so on the company's Chinese website or Weibo account.
Vivo is expected to unveil the X Fold 6 in India in the coming months. To recall, the Vivo X Fold 5 was unveiled in India in July. According to previous leaks, the Vivo X Fold 6 is also expected to get a substantial price hike over its predecessor, due to the ongoing memory shortage.
Vivo X Fold 6 Pricing
A recent leak suggests the Vivo X Fold 6 will be available in four memory configurations in China. The base 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is tipped to cost CNY 9,999 (roughly Rs 1,20,000). The 12GB + 512GB model is expected to be priced at CNY 10,999 (around Rs 1,32,000), while the 16GB + 512GB version could retail for CNY 11,499 (approximately Rs 1,38,000).
The top-end 16GB RAM + 1TB storage variant is tipped to carry a price tag of CNY 12,499 (roughly Rs 1,50,000). If the Vivo X Fold 6 does indeed make it to India, pricing could fall anywhere between Rs. 1,80,000 to Rs. 2,00,000.

Vivo X Fold 6 Specifications
The Vivo X Fold 6 is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset. The phone is also tipped to ship with OriginOS 6 Fold in China, with software features likely designed for split-screen multitasking, floating windows and better use of the large inner display.
The foldable may feature an 8.02-inch flexible inner screen. Vivo is also expected to use a redesigned hinge, aimed at improving durability and reducing crease visibility. Water resistance could be another major upgrade, with leaks pointing to IPX8 and IPX9 ratings, though official confirmation is still awaited.
Camera hardware may be one of the biggest reasons behind the premium positioning. The Vivo X Fold 6 is tipped to include a 200MP main rear camera and a periscope telephoto camera using Sony's LYT-602 sensor. If implemented well, this could help Vivo compete more aggressively in foldable photography.
Battery capacity is another area to watch. The handset is expected to pack a 7,000mAh battery, which would be unusually large for a foldable smartphone. A bigger battery could address one of the common concerns around foldables, especially for users who rely heavily on the inner display. Vivo is expected to offer the X Fold 6 in Blue Hole, Salt Lake and Polar Night colour options.
