Vivo X100 Series Launching Globally at 07 pm Today: Expected Price, Specifications

Vivo is all set to unveil the X100 series globally later today. The line-up will include the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro. To recall, the Vivo X100 series was unveiled in China last month.

The Vivo X100 series features a MediaTek chipset, a curved OLED display, a large battery with fast charging support, and a triple-camera setup on the back fine-tuned by Zeiss.

Vivo X100 Series Global Launch

The Vivo X100 series global launch is set to take place later today at 07:00 pm IST. Additionally, we recently reported that the Vivo X100 series launch in India will take place early in January 2024.

Since the Vivo X100 series has already been unveiled in China, the details about its specifications are already well known. Furthermore, here's pricing information about the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro.

Vivo X100, Vivo X100 Pro Pricing (Expected)

The Vivo X100 price starts from CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs 46,500) in China, while the Vivo X100 Pro price in China starts from CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs 58,150).

We expect the Vivo X100 price in India to start from under Rs 60,000. On the other hand, the Vivo X100 Pro price in India will likely start from in and around the 80K-mark.

Vivo X100 Specifications

The Vivo X100 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. However, a limited edition Vivo X100 model will also be offered with 16GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The Vivo X100 runs on Android 14-based OriginOS 4.0 out of the box.

For optics, the Vivo X100 features a 50 MP Sony IMX920 primary sensor with a 1/1.49" sensor size, an f/1.57 aperture, and OIS support. The other two sensors include a 50 MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.0 aperture and a 64 MP telephoto unit with OIS support. Up front, the Vivo X100 opts for a 32 MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The Vivo X100 sports a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels. The panel boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz high frequency dimming. The screen features a pixel density of 452 PPI and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The Vivo X100 packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support.

Vivo X100 Pro Specifications

The Vivo X100 Pro features the same display, chipset, selfie camera, and software as the vanilla Vivo X100. However, the The Vivo X100 Pro features a 50 MP Sony IMX989 1-inch type primary sensor with an f/1.75 aperture and OIS support.

The main camera is paired with a 50 MP ultrawide lens and a 50 MP floating telephoto-periscope lens features an f/2.5 aperture, a 1/2" sensor size, and OIS support. It also has an improved V3 display chip. The Vivo X100 Pro also opts for a larger 5,400 mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support.
