Vivo X200, X200 Pro India Launch Imminent Following BIS Certification: Could Arrive Next Month

The Vivo X200 series was launched last month as the first smartphone with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. The lineup includes -- Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and the Vivo X200 Pro Mini, already on sale in China. Now, the brand seems to be launching the X200 series smartphones soon in the global market including India.

While there's no official word on the same, both the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro were spotted on multiple certifications, hinting at imminent India and global launch.

Vivo X200, X200 Pro India Launch Soon

The Vivo X200 and X200 Pro have appeared on India's BIS certification site. However, the listing hasn't revealed any details except for an imminent launch. Besides, both models were spotted on Europe's ECC, Malaysia's SIRIM, and Indonesia's TKDN and SDPPI certification platforms, carrying the model numbers V2415 and V2413, respectively.

The Pro model also received Taiwan's NCC platform. It's worth noting that the X200 Pro Mini hasn't received any global certification including BIS, which means the Mini variant could be exclusive to the Chinese market.

Vivo X200, X200 Pro India Launch Timeline

Neither of these certification sites has mentioned the launch timeline for both the Vivo X200 and the X200 Pro. Earlier, a report by 91mobiles claimed that both the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro will arrive in India by the end of November or the first week of December. If this turns out to be true, Vivo will soon start teasing the arrival of these upcoming flagships.

Vivo X200 and X200 Pro: Expected Price and Features in India

We expect both models will come with a similar set of specifications as their Chinese counterparts. Given that, they will be powered by the Dimensity 9400 SoC and feature a triple-camera setup co-developed with ZEISS. While there's no hint about the pricing, we expect the standard Vivo X200 could arrive under Rs 70,000, on the other hand, the Vivo X200 Pro might fall between Rs 90,000 to Rs 1,00,000.
