Vivo X500 Pro Specs Leaked: 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro, 6.37-Inch Display, 64MP Portrait Camera
Fresh details on the Vivo X500 series have surfaced via Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, and the focus this time is on one specific model: a compact Pro-tier device with a 6.37-inch screen and the 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro inside.

Compact But Capable
At 6.37 inches, this is the smallest screen in the X500 lineup. The X500 Pro Max is tipped at 6.85 inches, and the vanilla X500 sits at 6.59 inches. Despite the smaller footprint, the internals don't take a hit. The Dimensity 9600 Pro is the same chip expected inside the Pro Max, so you're getting top-tier performance in a more pocketable package.
The Camera System
Three lenses are tipped for the rear. The primary sensor is a 50MP unit with a 1/1.28-inch size and LOFIC technology, which improves how the camera handles highlights and shadows in tricky lighting. The ultra-wide is also 50MP, though with a smaller sensor. The portrait shooter is a 64MP lens at 85mm, and the periscope setup reportedly doubles as a macro camera as well.
That 85mm periscope detail is significant beyond just specs. Digital Chat Station confirmed that every phone in the X500 Pro series carries an 85mm periscope lens. So whatever this device ends up being called, it's firmly in Pro territory.
Pro or Pro Mini?
That's the part nobody knows yet. A 6.37-inch display in a Pro lineup usually signals a "Mini" or compact variant, and Vivo has used that approach before. With the Pro Max already confirmed at the top end, a Pro Mini label for this one would make the lineup structure more logical. But Vivo hasn't confirmed the name, so it could still launch simply as the X500 Pro.
Where the Rest of the Lineup Stands
The base X500 gets the 3nm Dimensity 9500, a step down from the Pro models. That's a shift from how Vivo handled the X300 series, where the standard and Pro variants shared the same flagship chip. This time, the chip tier clearly separates the models.
The full X500 series is expected before the end of October 2026. The X500 Ultra, the top-of-the-range model, won't arrive until early 2027.
