Vivo X500, X500 Pro, and X500e Surface Online Ahead of Launch: Check Leaked Specs

Vivo’s next flagship phones are already starting to leak months before launch. Fresh entries spotted in the GSMA IMEI database by Smartprix have now revealed the Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro, and Vivo X500e.

While IMEI databases don’t reveal full specifications, they usually show up when companies begin certification work for upcoming devices. That means Vivo’s next flagship cycle is likely already underway.

Bigger Displays and a Familiar Formula

Leaks around the X500 series point toward Vivo sticking with the same direction that made the X-series popular in the first place. Cameras still appear to be the biggest focus, but bigger batteries and premium displays are also expected.

The standard Vivo X500 is rumored to feature a 6.37-inch display, while the X500 Pro could move to a larger 6.83-inch 2K LTPO OLED panel with high refresh rates. If those numbers are accurate, both devices would end up slightly larger than the current X300 lineup.

Vivo is also expected to continue using ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanners across the series.

MediaTek Could Power the Entire Lineup

On the performance side, Vivo may once again partner with MediaTek instead of Qualcomm for at least some models.

Early leaks suggest the X500 lineup could debut with the upcoming Dimensity 9600 family. Reports currently point toward a newer TSMC-built 2nm architecture, which could improve efficiency and sustained performance compared to existing flagship chips.

That could end up being important because Vivo’s recent flagships have already been pushing larger batteries and more demanding camera hardware.

Cameras Are Still the Main Attraction

The bigger upgrades may happen in the camera system once again.

The Pro models are rumored to use newer LOFIC sensor technology aimed at improving dynamic range and highlight control in difficult lighting.

Vivo is expected to unveil the X500 lineup in China around September or October before a wider rollout later.
