Vivo Y36 4G to Launch in India on June 26: Report

Vivo is reportedly preparing to launch its latest Y-series smartphone, the Vivo Y36 4G, in India. According to a fresh report, the handset will debut in the country on June 26. To recall, the smartphone first arrived in Indonesia last month, marking its global debut.

The Vivo Y36 lineup comprises the Vivo Y36 4G and the Vivo Y36 5G. The smartphones sport a 6.44-inch IPS LCD panel and a Full HD+ resolution. Both phones feature nearly identical specs, save for the processor. While the Y36 4G features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, the Y36 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor.

Vivo Y36 4G: Rumored Price, Availability

A Pricebaba report states that the Vivo Y36 4G will arrive in India on June 26, 2023. The publication claims that the smartphone will cost ₹19,500 in the country. It has also leaked the promotional image of the Y36 4G. Going by the leaked image, the Vivo Y36 4G will come in black and cream colorways.

Vivo Y36 4G Specifications

The Vivo Y36 4G will sport a 6.44-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution, peak brightness of 950 nits, and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The screen will have a hole-punch cutout at the front for the selfie camera.

The Y36 4G will feature an octa-core Snapdragon 680 processor, which will be accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will also have a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

When it comes to imaging, the Vivo Y36 4G will come with a dual rear camera setup which will include a 50MP main camera and a 2MP bokeh lens. For selfies and video calls, it will have a 16MP camera at the front.

As for the operating system, the Vivo Y36 4G will run Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13. The handset will pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. Connectivity options for the smartphone will include Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and NFC.
