Vivo Y9s With Triple Camera Setup Visits TENAA: Expected Pricing And Specifications

An upcoming smartphone dubbed Vivo Y9s has been listed online on TENAA revealing the design and specifications of the upcoming mid-tier smartphone with a unique camera setup. As per the listing, the phone comes with a model number V1945T, and here are the specifications of the same.

Vivo Y9s Specifications

As per the listing, the Vivo Y9s beholds a 6.38-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a native resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels. Being an AMOLED panel the phone is likely to come with an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.

MediaTek's Helio P65 SoC powers the smartphone, which is an octa-core chipset with four high-performance cores based on Cortex A75 and four efficient cores based on Cortex A55 technology. Graphics requirements are handled by the Mali-G52 GPU with 12nm fabrication. Plus, the chipset also has a built-in LTE modem.

On the software part, the phone offers FunTouch OS9 based on Android 9 Pie. The phone will be available with either 6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB internal storage with dual nano SIM slots with support for 4G LTE and VoLTE with dual-channel Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0.

The main attraction of the Vivo Y9s is its camera module that constitutes a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Plus, the phone also has a 32MP selfie camera with software-based face unlock.

A 4,500 mAh battery takes care of the power requirement with support for 18W fast charging via the USB Type-C port. Plus, the phone also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack which has gone missing from a majority of devices. The phone will be available in gold, black, and blue colors with a plastic unibody design.

The Vivo Y9s is likely to launch in China in the coming weeks. As per the pricing, the smartphone is likely to cost 1999 Yuan (approx Rs. 20,000) for the base variant.
