Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of a new smartphone in its 14 series in India. The Xiaomi 14 Civi will debut as the third phone in the line-up, followed by the Xiaomi 14 (Review) and 14 Ultra.
The Xiaomi 14 Civi is also expected to arrive as the most affordable phone in the 14 series. To recall, the Xiaomi 14 Civi will feature the same specifications as the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro launched earlier this year. It will also be the first 'Civi' smartphone to make its debut outside China.

The Xiaomi 14 Civi launch date in India is set for June 12 at 12 noon. Following its launch, the Xiaomi 14 Civi will go on sale in India through Flipkart as a dedicated page for the phone has already gone live on the e-commerce platform.
We expect, the Xiaomi 14 Civi price in India to start from under Rs 50,000. Given its collaboration with Leica on handset, we can expect the Xiaomi 14 Civi to compete with the likes of camera-oriented devices like the Vivo V30 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, and Google Pixel 8a (Review).
Xiaomi 14 Civi Specifications
The Xiaomi 14 Civi will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The handset runs Android 14-based HyperOS out of the box. It also packs dual-stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
The Xiaomi 14 Civi sports a 6.55-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The screen also supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The panel supports HDR10+, HDR Vivid, Dolby Vision, and 2160Hz PWM dimming.
The phone packs a 4,700 mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging support. Xiaomi claims the battery can retain 80% of its health after 1,600 charge cycles. The Xiaomi 14 Civi is offered in Spring Wild Green, hBreeze Blue, and Starr Sky Black color options.
Xiaomi 14 Civi Cameras
For optics, the Xiaomi 14 Civi's rear camera setup has been co-developed with Leica. The setup includes a 50 MP Summilux Lens that uses a Light Hunter 800 sensor with OIS, and an f/1.63 aperture. The main camera is paired with a 50 MP Leica portrait lens with an f/1.89 aperture and a 12 MP Leica ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture.
Up front, Xiaomi's latest premium mid-range smartphone features two selfie cameras, a 32 MP primary sensor with Autofocus and an f/2.0 aperture, and a 70-degree FOV and a 32 MP ultrawide shooter with a 100-degree FOV and an f/2.4 aperture. The Xiaomi 14 Civi can record 4K video at up to 60fps on the back and 4K video at 30fps on the front.
