Xiaomi 15 Series or Redmi 14 5G Tipped to Launch in India Next Month: Expected Price and Specs
Xiaomi is reportedly planning a new launch in India next month, with speculation pointing to either the flagship Xiaomi 15 series or the budget-friendly Redmi 14 5G.
This update comes from tipster Abhishek Yadav, who shared the information on X (formerly Twitter).

Could the Xiaomi 15 Series Be the Next Flagship in India?
The Xiaomi 15 series, which made its debut in China in October 2024, includes the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, along with the highly anticipated Xiaomi 15 Ultra. These devices bring premium features like the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 2K resolution displays, 50MP triple cameras, 90W wired charging, and IP68 water resistance.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to elevate the experience further with its quad-camera setup while retaining the same flagship chipset and other high-end specs. It is set to launch in China and global markets next month, with its India launch likely to follow.
Pricing for the Xiaomi 15 series in China starts at CNY 4,499 (around ₹53,500) for the base Xiaomi 15, while the Pro variant is priced at CNY 5,299 (around ₹63,000). If the Ultra model comes to India, it may mirror the ₹99,999 price of its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
Redmi 14 5G: An Early Entry for Budget Buyers
According to the same leak, Xiaomi might instead focus on launching the Redmi 14 5G, making it available much earlier than its predecessor's typical mid-year schedule. The Redmi 13 5G launched in July 2024, and an early release for the Redmi 14 5G could help Xiaomi stay competitive in the budget 5G segment.
While specific details about the Redmi 14 5G remain unclear, it is expected to sit above the Redmi 14C, which starts at ₹9,999. If the pricing follows past trends, the Redmi 14 5G could be available for around ₹13,999, similar to the Redmi 13 5G at launch.
What's Next?
With the rumored launch date just weeks away, Xiaomi is expected to start teasing its plans soon. Stay tuned for updates.
