Xiaomi 15 Ultra: What We Know So Far

Starting with the camera, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra's hands-on video recently surfaced online, giving an early look at its rear design. It will have a quad-camera setup, Leica branding, and a pill-shaped LED flash.

If rumours are to be believed, the Ultra model will offer a 50MP LYT-900 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), 50MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide lens, 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom and a 200MP Samsung HP9 periscope telephoto lens with 4.3x optical zoom. Upfront, the phone is expected to opt for a 32MP OmniVision OV32B sensor.

Moreover, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is tipped to feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED LTPO display with a micro-quad-curved design. It is likely to support 2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.

The device could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage in China. However, the global version is expected to be limited to a 16GB RAM and 512GB storage model.

On the software front, it may run Xiaomi's HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15. The device could also pack a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. As far as the price is concerned, there's no clue regarding this.

Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Electric Sedan: What to Expect?

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra electric sedan is reportedly launching with a triple-motor setup (V8s + V8s + V6s). It might come with a 0-100km/h acceleration time of just 1.98 seconds and a 0-200km/h acceleration of 5.86 seconds. The SU7 Ultra is also expected to feature CATL's Kirin Gen 2 battery technology.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra India Launch

As of now, there's no information regarding the launch of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in India. However, the device already visited the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, hinting at an imminent launch.

Even the standard Xiaomi 15 is tipped to arrive in India in March 2025. So, there's a chance the brand might launch both the Xiaomi 15 and the 15 Ultra at the same time in the country. Since all are speculations, we'd suggest our readers take it as a hint.
