Xiaomi Announces HyperOS Debut in India, Rolling Out First to Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 6

As the launch of Xiaomi's Redmi Note 13 5G series in India approaches, the tech giant has confirmed an exciting update for Indian users. A recent leak indicated that the Redmi Note 13 5G series would debut with MIUI 14 based on Android 13. Contrary to initial leaks suggesting that upcoming smartphones wouldn't receive the HyperOS update anytime soon, Xiaomi has officially confirmed its arrival in India.

The company emphasizes that the HyperOS will replace the MIUI software on existing Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO smartphones and tablets. The rollout schedule for the flagship Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphone and Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet has also been disclosed.

Xiaomi has disclosed that HyperOS will make its debut in India this January, with the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 6 being the first devices to receive the update. HyperOS is poised to bring a fresh and improved user experience, promising enhanced performance and new features for users in India.

The global rollout for eight Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones is expected in the first quarter of 2024, with POCO F5 set to join the ranks soon.
