Xiaomi Blackshark with Snapdragon 845 and 8GB RAM visits Geekbench
Xiaomi is alleged to be working on a high-end gaming smartphone.
Xiaomi reportedly owns a smartphone manufacturer called Black Shark Technology, which is existent since August 2017. It is speculated that Xiaomi could be working on a gaming smartphone with the codename Blackshark. Lately, we came across a leaked AnTuTu benchmark listing of this smartphone. Now, it has been spotted on Geekbench benchmarking tool revealing key specs.
Going by the Geekbench listing via MySmartPrice, the alleged Xiaomi gaming smartphone - Blackshark SKR-A0 runs Android 8.0 Oreo. The smartphone is believed to be powered by the most powerful Qualcomm processor - Snapdragon 845. Also, this processor is likely to be accompanied by 8GB of RAM. The benchmarking listing has revealed that the Xiaomi Blackshark SKR-A0 has managed to score 2452 and 8452 points respectively.
As mentioned earlier, the AnTuTu listing of the alleged Xiaomi Blackshark pointed out that the smartphone might flaunt a full-screen display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The screen resolution is said to be FHD+, which is 2160 x 1080 pixels. This smartphone managed to score 270,680 points on the AnTuTu benchmark database. Furthermore, the listing revealed that it will be launched with 32GB storage space. If it happens to arrive with 8GB RAM, then it might have higher storage capacities of 64GB, 128GB or 256GB.
The Xiaomi Blackshark smartphone is believed to be a Razer Phone competitor. The Razer Phone is a gaming-centric smartphone unveiled in November last year. The highlight of this smartphone is its display with 120Hz refresh rate. Eventually, we can expect the Xiaomi gaming smartphone that is in the making to also come with 120Hz refresh rate. The battery capacity of this smartphone is said to be pretty impressive as it is likely to feature a massive battery.
Notably, if this report turns out to be authentic and if Xiaomi Blackshark, a gaming smartphone is in the works, then it will carry the credits for being the first Xiaomi smartphone to feature 8GB RAM. Moreover, the specifications hint that it will be a high-end offering with its specs being on par with those of the alleged Mi 7, the flagship smartphone likely to be unveiled in the second quarter of this year.
