Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 with 8GB RAM and all ceramic white body to be launched soon

It's just been a month since Xiaomi first unveiled its most innovative and bezel-less smartphone Mi Mix 2 in the market. Moreover, the smartphone was launched in India this month. While Mi Mix 2's arrival has been a recent affair, now new rumors have started brewing up stating that the Chinese handset maker will introduce a special edition and more premium variant of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2.

The news of a special edition Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 (first impression) was spotted on the popular Chinese website Weibo where Xiaomi's Cloud platform Head revealed some information regarding the new variant. As per the post the special edition Xiaomi mi Mix 2 will come with a massive 8GB RAM and feature all Ceramic White body.

Further confirming the news, the alleged Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Ceramic White was also spotted online again. This time though, a tech analyst known as Sun Changxu was seen holding the device in her hand. And if that was not enough, a Weibo user possibly an employee at Xiaomi also has hinted that a special Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 with 8GB RAM could soon be launched. He further stated the 8GB RAM Mi Mix 2 would come in the standard Black variant as well.

However, apart from the boost in RAM and a new color design, the special edition is expected to feature the same specs and hardware as the standard 6GB Mi Mix 2.

As of now, no official word has been given by the company nor there is any particular time frame for the launch. Rumors again suggest that the device could be announced before the 11.11 sales promotions that Xiaomi conducts. It is expected to cost about 4699 Yuan (around Rs. 46,208).

In any case, while the 6GB RAM Mi Mix 2 comes with premium design and already offers seamless and smooth experience with its powerful internal guts the special edition could be a great gadget to flaunt around.
