Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S is expected to be unveiled on March 27. Lately, we have been coming across several details of the device leak online. Also, the company itself revealed the design of the smartphone via promotional posters earlier this week. Though the promotional photos show the smartphone clearly, the bottom bezel is not seen properly.

The fresh information regarding the Mi Mix 2S has come in the form of a leaked photo of a promotional material of the device via a tipster from China on Weibo. The image sheds light on the key specifications of the smartphone. We came across a report, which tipped that the next-generation smart speaker, the Mi Speaker Mini Edition might be unveiled along with the Mi Mix 2S and also leaked an image of the same. However, there is no clarity from the company regarding the same as yet.

Key specs revealed

According to the leaked image, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S will feature a new Full Screen 3.0 design. The screen is said to measure 5.99 inches packing a FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. At its heart, the smartphone from Xiaomi could make use of an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB of default memory capacity.

Bottom bezel sans selfie camera

While an earlier leak suggested at the positioning of the selfie camera at the bottom bezel of the Mi Mix 2S just like the arrangement we saw on the Mi Mix 2, the latest photo to be leaked does not show the same. It shows that the bottom bezel will have a similar thickness as the side bezels and it does not house the selfie camera.

Packaging box sticker

Earlier this week, the packaging box sticker of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S was leaked online. This one showed that the smartphone would arrive with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Now, with the leaked photo of the promotional material, we can get a sort of confirmation on the RAM and storage capacity of the smartphone.

Other features

From a previous camera teaser from Xiaomi, the Mi Mix 2S is expected to arrive with 4-axis OIS similar to its predecessor. The device is also believed to arrive with a ceramic body and some reports have tipped at the support for wireless charging as well. On the contrary, we have seen hands-on images of the alleged Mi Mix 2S showing the glass body and dual cameras at the rear.
