Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Series Launch in India Confirmed for December 2024: Redmi A4 5G Coming in November

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch new smartphones under its Redmi brand in India in November and December. The news comes following the departure of Muralikrishnan B as Xiaomi India's President.

In an exclusive interview with Business World, Xiaomi confirmed that the Redmi A4 5G is making its debut in India sometime this month. To recall, the Redmi A4 5G was first showcased back at the Mobile World Congress in India last month. The Redmi A4 5G will be the first smartphone to adopt the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 SoC and is aimed at India's budget 5G segment under Rs 10,000.

Moreover, Xiaomi also plans to build on the momentum following the festive season to release the Redmi Note 14 series in India next month (December 2024).

On the other hand, the Redmi Note 14 series has already been unveiled in China. The line-up includes the Redmi Note 14, Note 14 Pro, and Note 14 Pro+. To recall, the Redmi Note 13 series made its debut in India back in January 2024, marking the first time since the pandemic that the company releases two different Note series smartphones in the same year.

Xiaomi's Chief Marketing Officer for India, Anuj Sharma, explained the decision: "After 2022, we slowed down to an annual cycle... now, with improved efficiency and manufacturing alignment, we're ready to return to a dual-launch approach."

Redmi Note 14 Series Key Specifications, Price Range

The Redmi Note 14 series price range in India will fall anywhere between Rs 20,000 to Rs 35,000. The line-up will include the Redmi Note 14, Note 14 Pro, and Note 14 Pro+.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ features a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, a 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, a triple-camera setup (50MP + 8MP + 50MP), an IP69 rating, and a 6,200 mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra SoC, a 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, a triple-camera setup (50MP + 8MP + 2MP), an IP69 rating, and a 5,500 mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging support.

Finally, the Redmi Note 14 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, an FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, a dual-camera setup (50MP + 2MP), an IP64 rating, and a 5,110 mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging support.
