Sony Xperia Tipo: Hands-On Review
Connectivity & Apps

Likewise most Android smartphones, Xperia Tipo comes with Google Maps out of the box, which offers with detailed maps along with the ability to search for nearby cafes, ATMs and more, directions for drivers and pedestrians, public transit information and more.
Sony has bundled a few apps with the handset, including Voice Dialler, which works a little like Siri, enabling you to give voice commands. A power saver tool is also included, which enables you to set specific profiles for screen brightness, screen timeout and more and activate them automatically when the battery level drops to a certain point.
Another useful tool is LiveWare Manager, which enables you to toggle specific applications to start automatically when headphones or charger is plugged in.
Moving on to browsing capabilities, page rendering speed is good, but clicking a link is painful because of the relatively small screen size.
