One of the best things about Xperia U is the media player which features Cover Flow like interface and allows swipe features to control playback. Turning the xLOUD audio filter on will optimize the loudspeaker for clear bass output. Also, the handset has lockscreen playback controls and track info.
There is no dedicated video player app on the Xperia U and it will not support 1080p videos, though it the 720p videos play fine.
Xperia U also comes equipped with FM Radio, which is pretty neat and simple with the TrackID service.
