    Spice launches 3 Stellar Android smartphones

     

    A couple of days back, we reported that Spice is planning to launch a 5 inch Android smartphone. Now, the Indian manufacturer has come up with a new range of handsets under the Stellar series. The three products have varied screen sizes like 3.5 inch, 4 inch and 5 inch respectively.

    The Stellar range of smartphones are highly secure. They come preloaded with anti-virus and anti-theft software. They protect the users against data loss, theft, and virus. Spice along with NQ Mobile, a leader in mobile security solutions provide security solutions to these mobiles as there are numerous threats like malware that steal user data, banking information or make the phone sluggish.

    The Spice Stellar has handset has been launched and the others Spice Stella Horizon and Spice Stellar Craze will be launching by the end of this month. The Spice Stellar that was launched today is powered by the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and it is upgradeable to ICS. It is equipped with a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and has a 4 inch touchscreen. It has a capable 2000 mAh battery that offers a backup of 7 hours talk time and 120 hours standby. It sports a 5 MP camera at the rear and a front camera for video calling. The price in India of this handset is Rs 9,999.

    the Spice Stellar Horizon will have a 5 inch touchscreen and will come loaded with Android ICS. It will have a price in India of Rs 11,999. The Stellar Craze handset will have a 3.5 inch display and will run on Android Gingerbread operating system. Similar to its 4 inch sibling, this will also be upgradable to ICS. The price in India of this handset will be Rs 6,499.
