    Apple Reinvents New iPod touch and iPod nano: What are there Top features? [PICTURES]

     

    Today, the whole tech world is talking about the Apple special event and the products launched in it. The Cupertino tech titan unveiled its highly anticipated iPhone 5 on September 12 and along with that Apple also launched several other new updated devices. One of them were the next generation iPod touch and iPod nano will all new design and feel.

    Commenting on the launch during the event, Philip Schiller, the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, Apple said, “With over 350 million sold, iPod is the world’s most popular and beloved music player. Music lovers may have a difficult time deciding between the reinvented iPod nano, the thinnest iPod ever, and the all-new iPod touch with its stunning 4-inch Retina display, 5 megapixel iSight camera and ultra-thin design—both in beautiful new colors.”

    Lets take a look at the top features of the new music devices launched by Apple alongside iPhone 5.

    New iPod nano Key Specs

    Measuring 76.5 x 39.6 x 5.4 mm in dimension and weighing around 31 grams, the new iPod nano packs a 2.5 inch widescreen multi-touch display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and 202 ppi pixel density.

    According to Apple, the iPod nano will have an in-built rechargeable Li-ion battery offering up to 30 hours music playback and 3.5 hours video playback.

    Price & Availability in India

    The new iPod nano will be available in India from October in pink, yellow, blue, green, purple, silver and slate at approximately Rs 12,500 for a 16GB model through Apple Authorized Resellers.
