Apple Launch Event 2024: List of Products That Are Expected to Be Launched on September 9

Apple is all set for the "It's Glowtime" event on September 9 at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Apple Park. The will start at 10 am Pacific Time (10:30 pm IST). Although it is an in-person event, it will also be streamed live on Apple's official website and YouTube channel.

The tech giant typically keeps details about new products under wraps until the official announcement. However, it will most likely unveil the next-gen iPhone 16 series during this event. Alongside the new iPhones, several accessories such as watches and AirPods are expected to be unveiled.

iPhone 16 Series

The spotlight of the event is likely to be on the iPhone 16 series, which is expected to include four models - the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Every model will have a different screen size and both the iPhone 16 and the 16 Plus are likely to offer OLED panels with a 60Hz refresh rate as their predecessors, while both Pro models will support 120Hz refresh rate. The iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a massive 6.9-inch screen and the the standard iPhone 16 will be the smallest of the series.

Unlike the iPhone 15 series, all models of the iPhone 16 series will likely include the Apple Intelligence feature. Still, users might have to wait for a few months for a full experience, which is tipped to be introduced with a future iOS 18.1 software update.

The A18 chip will power both the non-pro models, while the iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max models might come with the A18 Pro SoC. All four models are said to start with at least 8GB RAM, while both Pro models will likely start with 256GB of storage and go up to 2TB.

Moreover, the iPhone 16 and the 16 Plus are expected to share similar camera hardware as their predecessors; however, the camera setup will be arranged vertically rather than diagonally and likely be capable of recording spatial videos. On the other side, both the Pro variants are likely to include an upgraded 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

Lastly, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is also said to pack a massive 4676 mAh battery, while the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to come with a smaller 3,355 mAh battery.

Apple Watch Series 10

In addition to the iPhone 16 series, the Watch Series 10 is expected to see the light, featuring a curved display. Rumours also suggested there could be two versions of the watch: one with a flat display possibly named Apple Series X and another with a curved design.

Further, Apple's upcoming watch is tipped to feature larger displays in 42mm and 46mm sizes with thinner bezels and a slimmer design. Additionally, it may include a powerful processor.

Apple Watch SE 3 and Watch Ultra 3

Apple is also rumoured to announce the 3rd-gen SE with a plastic body with a lower price tag, while the Watch Ultra 3 could tag along with a microLED display and AI features. The Watch Ultra 3 is also expected to cost higher compared to the Watch Ultra 2.

AirPods

During the event, the brand could launch the fourth generation of AirPods which is rumoured to come in two variants - entry-level and mid-tier options. Both variants will likely replace the second and third-generation models. Features will include noise cancellation and Find My support.

New Mac Mini
