Facebook Messenger gets new set of Admin Tools
Facebook has recently rolled out new admin tools. The group admins will be able to screen profiles before they add the profile into the group chat on the messaging app.
Facebook the social networking giant is working towards making its UI simpler for users to manage their group chats on Messenger. As per some sources on the internet, Facebook has recently rolled out new admin tools. Further, the group admins will be able to screen profiles before they add the profile to the group chat on the messaging app.
The report further suggests that the group admins will now be able to remove users, or promote the users or demote them from its status. The feature comes disabled as default; however, a user can activate it before its use. Also, Facebook is providing the group member with the ability to create an invitation link, so the admin can send them over and allow new members join the group with a tap of a button.
In earlier events, Facebook was reportedly working on a new feature for its camera app that allows AR effects based on real-world tracking markers.
It was being further reported that the feature that is available for closed beta testers, also works with the posters of two new upcoming movies, including the Ready Player One and The Wrinkle in Time. Facebook also demonstrated the feature in the video and the demonstration implies that when the camera is pointed at the poster of the upcoming movie, it overlays a window which shows the virtual Oasis world.
