YouTube Premium, YouTube Music Premium Prepaid Plans Launched In India
YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Premium have started providing prepaid plans for its users in India. With these services, users can enjoy ad-free experience without non-recurring charges. As of now, there are prepaid plans for one month and three months in the country.
Unlike subscription plans that exist right now wherein users will be charged on a recurring basis each month, users of YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Premium prepaid plans will have to pay whenever they wish to use the service.
YouTube Premium Prepaid Plans
The prepaid plans for YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Premium are available for Android devices and the web. For now, the iOS users do not have any prepaid plans and they have only subscription plans for now to experience the ad-free YouTube service.
Once users subscribe to a prepaid plan, users can choose to either extend their paid benefits by purchasing additional top-ups for one month or three months or stop the service.
With the prepaid plan for YouTube Premium is priced starting from Rs. 139 per month and Rs. 399 for a period of three months. YouTube Music Premium is available for Rs. 109 on a prepaid basis for a month and Rs. 309 for three months.
The YouTube Premium subscription is available for Rs. 129 per month and the YouTube Music Premium is priced for Rs. 99 per month when it comes to the existing monthly subscription plans. Notably, users who subscribe to the premium service provides a free one-month trial.
How To Sign Up For Prepaid Plans
To sign up for the premium YouTube service, you need to visit the YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium offers section. You will get an option to pay via debit or credit card. The prepaid plans will be visible for new users, so if you are already using the subscription plan for any of these services, then you will not get the option to switch to prepaid plan.
Why This Move?
Of course, the prepaid plans for YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Premium are relatively expensive than the monthly subscription plans launched in India in March. However, the new move will let new users test the service for either one month or three months without the concern of facing recurring charges.
