Twitter launches app for Amazon's Alexa
Now its time to be a bit more lazy as micro-blogging website Twitter has unveiled an app for Amazon's voice platform Alexa so she can just read your tweets on your Echo speaker or other Alexa-powered device.

The new app can give you general information on trends or deliver information from your own account, Twitter said.

In order to get started, just authenticate with your Twitter account and say "Alexa, open Twitter" to launch the app, Tech Crunch reported.

The virtual assistant not only can read tweets on Timeline but also a user's Mentions, Retweets, and Likes.

In addition, the app can provide more general information from Twitter's service, like the current trends or the local trends - meaning, trends for your particular location.
