You can now respond to Instagram messages with images and videos
You can even reply with a sticker of the image that you want to send.
Instagram has added a new feature that lets users respond to certain images, videos and re-shared posts in Direct Message by sending photos or videos. You can even reply with a sticker of the image that you want to send.
All you have to do is to tap the "Reply" button in the message section. Doing that will automatically open the camera. So you can take a selfie and send it. This new feature has been brought by latest 10.34 version update of Instagram for both Android and iOS platforms. Other than replying to Direct posts with an image or video, a split-screen response can be sent by tapping on the sticker.
There's more, you now have the option to draw on the sticker. If your Instagram hasn't been updated to version 10.34 yet, don't worry. It shouldn't take long to arrive at all the devices.
Last month, the popular photo sharing added another feature that allowed users to reply to stories with either a photo or a video. It also introduced a sticker feature which makes direct messaging on Instagram a lot more fun.
To use the feature users need to tap on the camera icon which appears on the left bottom corner of the screen while a story plays itself. Once you tap on the button, the camera opens up along with a sticker which is a snapshot from the recipient's story. While composing the reply users will have access to Boomerang, Hands-free and Rewind options along with several filters that Instagram offers.
The recipients of such reply on their story receive a direct message in their inbox. The reply also has the sticker that the sender used. The sender of the 'Reply' also gets a notification in case the recipient reply or takes a screenshot.
