Domo has officially launched its new tablet in the Indian market dubbed as Slate X3G 4th at Rs. 12,999. The compnay also claims to attach 6 months warranty with the device. However, the device was already put up for pre-orders in e-commerce site Homeshop 18 a week ago. But now the site seems to sell the device at an offer price of Rs.9,999.

Domo Slate X3G 4th Quad Core Tablet Officially Launched at Rs 12,999

Going by the specs, Domo's new Slate X3G 4th comes with a 7 inch LCD display offering 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. The display is a 5 Point Multi Touch Capacitive Touch Screen.

It is powered by a quad core ARM Cortex A7 processor clocked to 1 GHz and ARM 40LP POP IP technology. There is a PowerVR SGX544MP2 graphic unit rated at 533MHz along with 1GB DDR III RAM. The device runs on Android Jelly Bean v4.2.2.

The tablet houses 8 GB internal storage capacity bundled with a 16GB microSD card. The external storage capacity can be expanded up to 64 GB. The tablet offers 3G voice calling though SIM card support. Other than that, the device comes with connectivity features like: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, HDMI port and 3G.

When it comes to camera, the tablet is loaded with 5 megapixel rear camera with CMOS sensor and HawkView support. While at the front, there is a 3-megapixel front-facing shooter as well. It also comes with a support of 24-bit audio channel for ultimate audio output.

The 10 mm thin DOMO Slate X3G 4th comes in the aluminum frame and weighs 315 grams. It is powered by a 3200mAh battery that is said to offer up to 5 hours of Wi-Fi browsing time and a standby time up to 120 hours.

To talk about the competition the newly launched tablet will have to face a direct competition with Micromax Canvas Tab P650, Xolo QC800, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 T311, Karbonn Smart Tab 8 among others.
