HCL ME Connect 3G 2.0 Voice Calling Tablet Launched at Rs 11,599


Remember, HCL ME Connect 2G 2.0, the voice calling tablet which was launched in June 2013. Well, the successor of the same HCL tablet has been launched online recently with 3G connectivity. The talk is about HCL ME Connect 3G 2.0 Voice Calling Tablet which has got listed on Infibeam as available at a price of Rs 11,599.

Going by the specs the tablet sports a 7 Inch Multi-touch Capacitive Screen that offers a WSVGA resolution of 1024 x 600 Pixel. Talking in terms of power, the newly launched HCL ME tablet connect 3G 2.0 is powered by a 1.2 Ghz Cortex A9 Dual Core CPU along with 1GB DDR3 RAM and the tablet runs on Android JellyBean 4.1.

There is s built in 3D GPU also supporting the tablet. There is also a 3.2MP rear camera fitted at the back while for video calling one can also find 0.3MP on the front face of the tablet.

HCL ME Connect 3G 2.0 also houses an internal storage capacity of 4 GB which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.

Talking about the connectivity, there is a Dual SIM support in the tablet along with Bluetooth, 3G, microUSB, mini HDMI, Wi-Fi along with Wi-Fi Hotspot. Moreover, the slate also comes with a voice calling feature.

Eventually the tablet is powered by a 3500 mAh High density Li-ion Polymer battery.

Looking at the tablet market in India, which is lush with variety this tablet is bound to face hardships now. As there are other tablet which fall under a similar price range including Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite, Swipe MTV Volt Tablet, Micromax Funbook Pro, iBall Slide i7218 and many more. However, if one wishes to go to a bit higher range, one can have latest Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 inch, Asus Foenpad and older Nexus 7 as well.
