Lenovo LaVie Z 13-Inch Notebook Goes On Sale Featuring High-End Specifications
Lenovo has been making waves ever since the Chinese tech giant announced its LaVie Z netbook at this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

Now available on sale starting at $1,499 or about Rs. 96,000 for the standard model and $1,699 or about Rs. 108,800 for the Z 360 version, Lenovo's priced laptop series will give Apple's MacBook range a run for the money.

The LaVie Z, which weighs just 1.87 pounds, has a standard 13.3-inch WQHD (2560x1440) LED-backlit IPS anti-glare display. The LaVie Z 360, on the other hand, has a hinge that allows its 13.3-inch screen to move 360 degrees so it can be used as a tablet. It netbook weighs in at 2.04 pounds, which is extremely light.

Both notebook models have an Intel Core i7-5500U processor with a clock speed of 2.40GHz, along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage. Both models also have battery life of up to 9 hours for video playback.

In other news, Lenovo recently launched its latest ThinkCentre Chromebox. The Chromebox will fit into Lenovo's Tiny-in-One 23″ monitor, and can be easily mounted onto the back of the PC. It is expected to feature either an Intel Celeron or Pentium processor inside, alongside 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM.
