Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids First Look: Camera and Video

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids, as we said before, features the same hardware spec as the Galaxy Tab 3. This means there are two cameras for your child to play around with. However, you may be disappointed by the quality of both. while the rear one is a 3-megapixel snapper, the front offers a 1.3-megapixel webcam.

The kids' camera app, in reality, is easy to use. Although photo quality is poor. The same goes for videos as well. Images will come off the camera at a maximum 2048 x 1536 resolution with not so great color reproduction and has a feel of low-tone filter about them.

The videos captured also come off at quite the low 640 x 480 resolution. But considering the fact that your kids will mainly end up clicking photos of the household dog or his or her mommy, that shouldn't be much of a worry.

Heading over to the front camera, Samsung has indeed added a few overlays to the uber-simple Kids Mode camera. This allows kids to add funny stickers to the images they have clicked. However, not that your kid will be complaining much since modern day tech is still a thing of magic for the little ones.
