Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 Leaked Online: Expected Specs

In India Samsung is busy organizing its Galaxy S5 launch event today, and on the other hand the company's Galaxy Tab 4 series of devices have been leaking online continuously. Now the most recent device falling in the Tab 4 series the Tab 4 7.0 has come up to our notice.

In fact this is another budget tablet coming from the company like most of the devices in the Galaxy Tab series are. The leak comes courtesy of a renowned tech-bound leakster in social networking site Twitter called by the name @evleaks. The sensational and one of the most credible leakster has in fact posted the high-res press render of the device on the social platform.

However, we don't have even a clue about the specs and features of the device and the pricing and availability is something which would only be know at the time of the launch or a week prior to the launch.

But since this is the 4th Generation of the Galaxy Tab series, it should be better than the Tab 3 7.0 inch model of last year. Thus take a look at the specs of the Tab 3 7.0 inch tablet as a reference model for the upcoming new tablet.

The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 comes with 7-inch TFT capacitive touch screen display offering a resolution of 1024×600pixels. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and would run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS.

There is a 2MP rear camera and the Wi-Fi variant of the tablet measures 9.7mm thick and weighs 310grams. It comes with a very low 8GB internal memory with microSD card slot support which can push up the memory up to 32GB.

Connectivity options are pretty standard with 3G HSPA+,WiFi b/g/n (2.4GHz), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS and GLONASS. It is powered by 3,600 mAh battery.

However, as we can see from the leaked image from @evleaks, the Tab 4 7.0 might come with a front facing shooter. Moreover, it could come with a better storage capacity and revved up CPU clock. Moreover, we could also see the device loaded with Android KitKat OS.
