Top 10 Smartphones and Tablets to Get Android 4.4 Kitkat Update in India Soon

Google's Android 4.4 Kitkat is the biggest update ever released by the software giant. Kitkat is designed to work with handsets having minimum of 512MB of RAM. What it really means? Simply, it means that the newest version of Android will be work buttery smooth on the low end as well as high end devices.

The LG Nexus 5 is the only handset launched with Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box. The device is expected to reach India later this month. Starting today, Google will release the Android 4.4 Kitkat update for its Nexus range of devices (Nexus 7 and Nexus 10).

Google is yet to announce the Kitkat release schedule for last year's hit device, the Nexus 4. Samsung, HTC, Motorola, Sony and LG, are preparing to release the Android 4.4 Kitkat update at some point of time.

Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS comes out of the box. There's a 13MP rear camera with Auto Focus, LED Flash and a 2MP front camera. The makers have added a 2600mAh battery.
